can you believe i only have 1 weekend left before the wedding? holy fucking crap! 12 fucking days left. we are truly in the final stretch, ladies and gents. woohooooooo!
i'm trying to decipher how i really feel, cause it's weird. i'm sooo excited, that's for sure. after almost 7 years of being together, schmuck and i will finally BE TOGETHER. as man and wife. he is my husband and i am his wife. i will wake up every morning and see his face. i will go to sleep with him beside me. wow. the possibilities are endless, and we're both beyond excited! another thing that excites me is the culmination of one year of planning into one day. all the suppliers we booked. all the ideas we had. it's all going to come together and be THE wedding. OUR wedding!
on the other hand, i'm also quite nervous. and tense. and panicking. i'm not nervous about the being together part. i'm quite sure about that one. but it's the wedding itself that's giving me the jitters. what if i trip as i'm walking down the aisle? what if my bouquet is wilted? what if my photog doesn't arrive? what if my makeup is awful? what if the bridal car breaks down? what if...what it...what if! fucking crap! again, the possibilities are endless!
sometimes, i find myself being jolted awake because i'm reminded of something that i have to do and haven't done. i know that at some point, i'm going to have to relax and let go. i'm still waiting for that to happen.
anyhoo, in the meantime, please join me in my final moments of panic.
had another meeting with impromptu last thursday. i turned over all the contracts already, and submitted all my deliverables to them. hahaha! sounds like work! but they've been making me kulit already to do this, do that. that's when i really knew that the wedding is near na.
you know, these girls are doing a great job so far. they've streamlined all the stuff i did, and everything seems to be smoother now. i gotta admit that i felt reassured after our meeting. but they're also so much fun! i really hope that this good performance they're showing will go all the way to the wedding.
had my final fitting yesterday with merlene. i'm not sure what exactly changed, but when i wore my gown...there was a feeling of finality about it. i got goosebumps and honestly, i felt beautiful. nyahahaha!
my niece chloe also had her fitting yesterday, and she looked so adorable!!! at first, she didn't want to wear the gown. i was getting a little antsy cause what if she doesn't wear it on my wedding?! but her yaya managed to put it on while everyone else was distracting her. when she finally had the gown on and everyone was ooh-ing and aah-ing, she must've realized that she WAS a princess and started prancing around. ang cuuuute!!!!
now merl wants to get chloe as a model for her next ad. cool!!! (ehem...what about the bride?...hahahahaha!)
left the office early today and went to solea for my shoe fitting. i was supposed to have my fitting last friday, but emi got sick and it got moved to day. i was a bit peeved about it, cause i wouldn't have known that the fitting wasn't pushing through had i not texted her. haaayyy. if only they didn't make good shoes talaga.
but anyhoo, so i had my fitting today and so far, it looks good. it looked so sexy on my foot, and i can't wait to see it with all its beadings. will get my shoes on the 23rd.
last friday, my friends at the office threw me a bridal shower. man, it was such a hooooot!!! they had so many gimmicks planned! first off, they blindfolded me from the office all the way to the venue (which i learned later on was astoria). when we got there, some guy just grabbed me and brought me inside this room and left me there. when i took off my blindfold, i saw that i was inside the bathroom. when i went out, they all shouted "surprise!" and gave me my cape (shower curtain), crown (shower cap) and scepter (a paper mache dick). hahahahaha!
we played so many games, but the highlight of the evening was....a stripper!!! i'd love to post pics of that, but then that would make my blog R-18. hahahaha! if you want pics, go here. warning though! some pics are quite....graphic! hehehe! i'm sure you have a question in your minds, and so in answer....yes, he stripped ALL THE WAY!!! of course, i didn't put those pics in webshots. hahahahaha!it was such a blast, and i love my friends dearly for all the effort they put into it. thanks, guys!!!

schmuck and i are terribly excited about our bed. haha! we had a bed made for us, and we had it copied from this design we both saw in the newspaper. all it needs now is some paint, and voila! the cushion will be a gift from schmuck's sisters.
hey, we got our first wedding gift already!!! damn, this is even better than christmas! schmuck and i have been arguing cause he wants to open them already, and i keep telling him we have to wait till the wedding. haha!
wow, this is a long post. since i only get to post about once a week and with the wedding in just a few days, i'm obviously cramming.
ok, i gotta go and take my beauty sleep.
